When Makayla needed someone in her corner, Crystal stood beside her.

After Makayla’s death, Crystal became one of the family members publicly advocating to keep Makayla’s name and story from disappearing. She used her voice, social media, media appearances, fundraising, and public support to help keep people talking about Makayla and the family’s pursuit of accountability.
